Bruce Power and its supplier partners have donated almost $140,000 to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada in honour of World Brain Tumour Day.
The donation combines a $100,000 commitment from Bruce Powers Community Investment Fund and $37,500 from 38 industry partners as part of the 2024 Supplier Sponsorship Program.
Shannon LaHay, CEO of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada says through this donation they can continue to fund critical research and provide support and trusted resources and together with Bruce Power they are creating a brighter future for those affected by the disease and hope a cure can be found.
