Bruce Power is marking Mental Health Awareness Month in May by support local organizations and its own employees through funding and programming aimed at helping ensure people can get the assistance they need.

The company has donated more than $50,000 to a number of organizations that support mental health, improving access to necessary care in the surrounding communities.

The companies include We C.A.R.E. Grey Bruce, WES for Youth Online, Westover Treatment Centre, Bruce Grey Mentorship, PRANCE Therapeutic equestrian centre and Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey Bruce and Kincardine and District.

They also help initiatives through CMHA Grey Bruce, including youth awareness, Men’s Programs, Ride Don’t Hide and more.
