Bruce Power is providing $100,000 in mutual aid to support the flood recovery in the Niagara Region.
The area saw extreme rainfall on July 27th and 28th which led to a significant weather event August 2nd causing widespread flooding, property damage and disruption to residents and businesses.
Bruce Power has responded to supplying recovery materials and equipment including small generators, construction-grade and heavy-duty garbage bags, cleaning supplies, mops, brooms, disinfectants, mold-removal products, paper products, laundry detergent, baby diapers, personal hygiene items, fans, and dehumidifiers.
Director of Supply Chain, Jeff Holland says by leveraging their strong supplier relationships with procurement capabilities they were able to secure and coordinate the delivery of critical recovery supplies for the Niagara Region.
