Bruce Power is preparing for another busy summer at its Visitor Centre.

Narrated tours of its 2,300 acre site will be held Mondays to Fridays in June, July and August with our tour a day in June, and 3 per day in July and August.

Participants get the opportunity to watch a short film and interact with displays on the nuclear electricity process, the production of cancer-fighting medical isotopes, their MCR projects, and more.

After a security check, visitors will then learn more about the site by boarding a bus and taking a one-hour narrated tour.

July 29th also marks the return of Bruce Power’s community appreciation event in downtown Port Elgin, capped with fireworks at dusk over Main Beach.

Bruce Power FunFest will be held both inside and outside Port Elgin Missionary church and fill feature fun for the whole family.
