Bruce Power continues to set new records with the announcement of Bruce A units reaching 100 consecutive days of operation.
In a news release, they say all four units on Bruce A have been providing clean, reliable, low-cost energy since it was put back in service in 2014.
That year saw its last coal-fired generator in Ontario cease operations.
Bruce A was shut down in 1995 and returned to service with Unit 3 in 2004.
They say Bruce A has been providing 70 percent of carbon-free energy it needed that allowed the province to shut down its last coal plant.
