Bruce Power released it’s Annual Review and Energy Report for 2021. The company says the report highlight’s the company’s commitment to provide safe, reliable and carbon-free power to Ontario, while helping to achieve climate change goals and cement Canada’s position as leader in nuclear medicine.
Key Milestones outlined include the company’s Unit 6 Major Component Replacement Project and how innovation has positioned Canada as a global leader in the production of life-saving medical isotopes.
Outlined also in the report is that electrification will significantly increase the need for clean electricity as Ontario moves towards it’s target of net zero emissions by 2050.
Also detailed is the company has also been committed to the community through it’s Covid-19 response, including it’s help with setting up the “hockey hub” vaccination clinics and the donation of 3 million pieces of personal protective equipment since the pandemic began.
