Bruce Power has released its 2024 Sustainability Report highlighting efforts to creating a sustainable future while playing a role to secure clean energy for tomorrow.
The report digs into the company’s efforts to strengthen communities, provide provincial and federal carbon education goals and add to economic growth an innovation.
Bruce Power has remained committed to a net zero Canada by 2050 by committing to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions from its operations by 2027, making it the first nuclear operator in North America to make such a commitment.
The company is continuing to support local sustainability projects including the ALUS New Acre Project.
