Bruce Power says in a release today that it marked a success 2022 by delivering on its mission of safely providing clean, reliable power for the people of Ontario while also stabilizing the world’s supply of cancer-fighting medical isotopes.
Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power’s President and CEO says they have a lot to be proud of, and it’s their people and partners who are powering them forward as a leader in clean energy and in the global fight against cancer.
One of the most significant in that regard was them being first to produce lutetium-177 in a commercial reactor.
It was part of an international collaboration between Bruce Power, Isogen and ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE.
