The annual Bruce Power site bus tour is back which launched at the start of the month expanding to October 8th.
The increased length of the tour comes given the popularity of the tours which run once daily Monday-Friday this month then to three times a day in July and August then twice weekly from September 8th to October 8th.
Dwight Irwin, Manager of Community and External Affairs at the Bruce Power Visitors Centre says 6300 people took a tour of the site last year, learning more about nuclear power and how Bruce Power drives Ontario’s economy while helping fight cancer through the production of medical isotopes.
