Deborah Logue Given Attorney General’s Victim Services Award of Distinction

Executive Director of Victim Services Huron-Perth, Deborah Logue has been given one of Ontario’s highest honours for victim service professionals.

Logue has received the Attorney General’s Victim Services Award of Distinction for her dedication and leadership in supporting victims of crime and raising awareness of victim’s issues across Ontario.

“It is an incredible honour to receive this award,” said Logue.

“This recognition reflects not only my work, but the resilience, courage, and strength of the survivors and communities I have had the privilege to support over the years. I share this award with every advocate, frontline worker, and individual committed to ensuring victims are heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we continue to create safer, more compassionate communities.”

Over her career since being named Executive Director in 2016, Logue has led Victim Services and helped shape policies and programs to support victims of crime and played a key role in delivering education on human trafficking to rural communities.
