Bruce Telecom donates to Lamont Sports Park fundraising campaign

The Lamont Sports Park Illuminating Dreams Fundraising Campaign has secured its sixth major donor.

Bruce Telecom is donating $50,000 to the second phase of the park project.

The local telecommunications company will receive naming rights to one of the six ball diamonds for the next 20 years.

Bruce Telecom will also be supplying free Wi-Fi throughout the park.

In a news release, Bruce Telecom President and CEO Ray Lahoud (la-howd) says they are thrilled to be part of the project.

Phase Two will see the construction of two diamonds for youth baseball in addition to the four that were built during Phase One.

It was also announced that the public is invited to see the park on Saturday, June 4th when it is expected that the public portion of the fundraising campaign will be officially launched.
