Caleb Hull has taken the role of Deputy Mayor of South Bruce Peninsula.
Council voted to pass a bylaw on Tuesday to appoint Hull to the position, filling in for then Deputy Mayor Jay Kirkland who became the municipality’s mayor after the resignation of Gerry Michi.
In a release, Hull says he looks forward to serving the community as well as appreciating the confidence from council.
Staff will return to council at a later date to look at options to now fill Hull’s vacant seat as he takes his place as Deputy Mayor.
