South Bruce OPP are taking part over the weekend in the annual province wide traffic safety initiative.
The campaign which runs until July 6th will see officers focusing efforts to ensure the roadways are safe making sure drivers are wearing seat belts, avoiding distracted driving, speeding and staying sober.
Further, an increase presence will be seen on the waters and on ATV’s to encourage safe boating and riding with all safety equipment being utilized.
Police are reminding drivers seat belt non compliance can result in a fine of $240 and two demerit points.
