There is a Huron-Bruce all-candidates meeting taking place in Goderich.
It will be at the Lakeshore United Church on North Street Wednesday night, May 25th from 7 until 9.
The event is co-hosted by the Huron Chamber of Commerce and the Huron-Perth Association of Realtors.
The Chamber says incumbent Lisa Thompson of the Progressive Conservatives, Shelley Blackmore of the Liberals, NDP’s Laurie Hazzard, Matt Kennedy of New Blue Ontario, and the Green Party’s Matthew Van Ankum have all confirmed that they will be taking part.
Other candidates that will also be part of the meeting include Bruce Eisen of Ontario Alliance, Gerrie Huenemoerder of the Ontario Party, and Independent Ron Stephens.
Each candidate will make their remarks followed by questions from the public.
Anyone attending the meeting is being encouraged to wear a mask and no refreshments will be provided.
The meeting will also be live-streamed on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
