A charity basketball game in support of Breast Cancer Canada has some bigger attachments to it following the Walkerton tragedy.

Hoops for Hope was an event organized by Olivia Rourke, one of the students who was lost in the crash which is still taking place on June 7th at Walkerton District Community School.

Rourke, who’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer last year had the idea to put her love for basketball and her mother together to help raise funds for breast cancer research.

The 3 on 3 tournament will also be complete with a silent auction.
