The Chief Electoral Officer has released the final election expense limits for political parties and candidates in the upcoming September 20th Federal Election.

There are limits for an entire political party and then locally by districts.

Federally the 3 main parties have spending limits of $30.1 Million for the Liberals, $30 Million each for the Conservatives and New Democratic Party, $27.9 Million for the Peoples Party of Canada and $22 Million for the Greens.

The amounts are calculated by multiplying the number of the list of electors in each district by 73.5 cents and then multiplied 1 and a half times adjusted for inflation.

Locally, the limits for area candidates are $116,800 for Huron Bruce.
