Community Living Kincardine & District capped off its “Lots of Socks” campaign yesterday on World Down Syndrome Day.
As part of the awareness campaign, they urged businesses to decorate their front windows and public areas with socks and a poster of an individual in the community with Downs Syndrome to get the conversation started.
When voting closed yesterday at 1pm it was announced the winner of the Golden Sock Award was the South Bruce OPP Kincardine Detachment.
Second place went to Ideal Supply followed by Y Childcare Kincardine, followed by the Kinetic Knights Robotic Team and Artemis.
