Huron-Kinloss awards Bell Bridge maintenance project to AJN Builders

Bridge, located on Lake Range Drive between Concession 4 and Bell Drive is set to see repairs of the supporting structure, top deck, and drainage improvements to extend its life.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss will be including Bell Bridge in their maintenance projects for 2023.

The bridge, located on Lake Range Drive between Concession 4 and Bell Drive is set to see repairs of the supporting structure, top deck, and drainage improvements to extend its life.

The rehabilitation project will see the bridge close for 12 weeks for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.

The project was awarded to AJN Builders at the March 20th council meeting at a cost of $950,000 excluding tax.

Construction is set to begin May 1st and continue through July 31st weather depending.

Full closure will require a north detour from Concession 4 to 8 via Highway 21.
