There will be plenty of events, ceremonies and actions across Bruce County leading up to Orange Shirt Day for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th.
Kicking off the month, Every Child Matters flags have been raised at flag poles at County facilities with the design by Taylor Cameron, an artist from Saugeen First Nation honours the lives impacted by the residential school system.
The Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre will be holding events as well planned Walk for Wenjack walks across Bruce County in October.
