Huron Perth Public Health has declared a COVID-19 outbreak on the inpatient unit of the Wingham and District Hospital.
A total of six patients and no staff members have been identified as part of the outbreak.
The hospital says it is working very closely with Public Health and their regional partners regarding admissions, transfers and repatriations in response to this outbreak.
The emergency department, ambulatory care services, operating room, diagnostic imaging, and specialist visits continue to occur.
There is currently no inpatient visiting permitted at this time.
The gift shop is also closed during the outbreak.
