Huron Shores Hospice received a generous $1000 donation from a local cyclist looking to help the cause.

Bob Hunter was part of a cycling group that virtually rode across Canada during the pandemic.

He recently completed the last leg, Edmonton to Victoria, and finished second place. Hunter’s name was entered into the draw for $700 in prize money which he won.

Bob and his wife, Michele, added to the amount to bring the total donation to $1000.

Hunter previously donated winnings from the beginning of the ride to the hospice back in the Fall of 2020.
