Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Bruce North Huron are gearing up this weekend for their annual Dancing with the Stars gala fundraiser.
Taking Place on Saturday at the Kincardine Pavilion, the event is very similar to the show its named after with local celebrities putting on a show for those in attendance.
Tickets are on sale for both in person and to attend virtually.
President of the Board for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Linda Johnson says those taking part in the event are all locals and always aims to be a great night to look forward to.
“But these dancers put themselves out there, they’re your friends, your neighbours. They’re just putting themselves out there saying ‘never danced before but I’m going to practice hard and put on the best show I can’ and that they do.” said Johnson.
Last year, the Dancing With the Stars fundraiser was able to bring in $37,000 which was all used to help keep the agency going.
