Saugeen Shores Police have arrested a Port Elgin man who was wanted after a robbery.
Police was on general patrol in Port Elgin when they spotted a man known to them wanted on an outstanding warrant for robbery.
The man was eventually arrested after resisting.
A search led to a quantity of cash and suspect cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a prohibited weapon.
As a result a 38 year old man of Port Elgin has been charged with Robbery, Resisting a Peace Officer, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and then remanded into custody.
