Deadline Approaching to Repay Business Pandemic Loans

The deadline to repay pandemic loans and get partial forgiveness is quickly approaching.

Nearly 900,000 organizations took a loan from the Canada Emergency Business Account over the pandemic, a federal initiative which offered up to $60,000 in interest free loans.

The deadline for small businesses to pay back these loans and receive up a third in forgiveness is mid-January but business groups have been calling for more time to pay back the loans.

The government has already made some changes to the programs deadline but the chances of another have gained little to no ground.
