From now until December 8th, Bruce County will be accepting gift donations at the Bruce County Administrative Centre in Walkerton, the Lakeshore Hub in Port Elgin, the Penetangore Hub in Kincardine and Peninsula Hub in Wiarton as part of the county’s Dorrell Young Christmas Program.
The program helps support families in need for the holiday season with a gift such as a toy, book or clothing for kids and teens served by Bruce County’s Human Service’s Department.
Monetary donations, an unwrapped gift for a child or teen as well as sponsoring a family are all accepted as support for the Dorrel Young Christmas program.
Each year the program supports around 400 children within Bruce County.
