Dorrell Young Christmas Program received over $21,000 in Donations during 2022 Holiday Season

They advised that due to the generocity of the community 201 familes & 379 children received the gift of hope & inclusion.

Bruce County’s Human Services Department is thanking everyone who gave to gift of hope & inclusion for children and families during the 2022 holiday season.

They advised that the Dorrell Young Christmas Program benefitted from over $21,000 in generous last year, which directly supported 201 familes and served 379 children in total.

Annually the program provides a gift, often a toy, book or article of clothing, for children and teenagers served by Bruce County’s Human Services department, whose families & caregivers are struggling during the holiday season.

The program relies solely on donations, through the support of generous individuals and organization in the community.

Christine MacDonald, Deputy CAO says the amazing contributions to this meaningful cause support families and children in their communities.
