A Central Huron man has been charged with impaired driving after colliding with a house in Clinton last month.
Emergency services responded to a call on to a home William Street South on Jan. 22 around 11:30 a.m.
Huron County OPP say a pickup truck travelling westbound on Townsend Street failed to stop at the posted sign, crossing over William Street, a curb and crashing into the front of the residence.
The driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Officers say they determined after speaking with the driver that he was under the influence of a drug(s) while driving. The 29-year-old now faces charges for operation while impaired and careless driving.
The accused has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for next month in Goderich.
