A 32 year old is facing multiple charges who tried to flee from police.
On October 16th at around 9am South Bruce OPP tried to stop a vehicle for a seat belt violation on Millennium Way in Kincardine.
When the emergency lights were turned on the vehicle kept going and into a nearby parking lot. When the driver explained the reason for the stop the driver used obscenities and then fled.
Officers did not chase the suspect over safety concerns but the driver was found later in the day and arrested.
The 32 year old man of Kincardine has been charged with Flight from an Officer, Failure to Wear a Seat Belt, Failure to Surrender Licence and Failure to Surrender Insurance.
The accused will appear in court in December.
