Harvest season is well underway across Midwestern Ontario and the public is urged safety while on the roads.
Tractors, combines and other farm vehicles are out and about traveling between farms and fields which move at slower speeds and require space, caution and extra patience.
Drivers are asked to give farm equipment space, slow down when approaching agricultural equipment and be aware for turns as farm equipment can take wide or unexpected movements as operators entering fields, driveways or farm lanes.
Farmers are also reminded to outfit their equipment with proper lighting and signage and be visible for motorists.
