E-Bike Driver charged Friday after found to be Prohibited Driver

Police were on patrol on Highway 6 in South Bruce Peninsula around 3:14 pm when the 41-year-old operator attracted the officers attention with their driving behaviour.

The Grey Bruce OPP charged an e-bike rider on Friday after they were found to be a prohibited driver.

Police were on patrol on Highway 6 in South Bruce Peninsula around 3:14 pm when the operator of the e-bike attracted the officers attention with their driving behaviour.

They were subsequently stopped and the 41-year-old was found to be a prohibited driver.

They have been charged and are set to appear in an Owen Sound Court on August 31st.

Police remind everyone that if they are planning on using alternative formers of transportation that they know the rules & regulations of the vehicle they will be driving.
