Goderich Public School sees heavy damage after Car Collides with Building

The 17-year-old driver sustained non-life-threating injuries in the 6am collision.

The Huron County OPP is investigating a collision that saw a minivan collide into an exterior wall at Goderich Public School early Monday morning.

Police, Goderich Fire and Huron County EMS were called to the Blake Street West property at around 5:50 am and found that the vehicle had crashed through a brick wall on the east side of the elementary school causing damage to the library and an adjoining classroom.

The 17-year-old was transported to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle has since been removed and the repairs to the scohol are being arranged.

The investigation is ongoing with more information to follow.
