Those who visit West Region OPP detachments after hours will now have access to a public access calling system.
The “E-Phone” is a touchscreen based system to replace the old handset phone used outside OPP buildings and has been modernized but still runs like the old handsets.
20 out of 34 West Region detachments have been transitioned to the new E-phone system with the other offices expected to be up and running with E-phones in the fall.
