Enrollment has been surging across schools with the Bluewater District School Board.
Preliminary numbers showed an increase of 236 students since fall of last year.
This latest growth translates to a board wide total of over 18,900 students across 41 elementary and nine secondary schools.
The board says this reflects a positive trend in the region as more families relocate to call Bruce and Grey County’s their home while choosing Bluewater schools.
Total enrollment in 2020-21 was just over 16,500 students and it’s continued to rise ever since with a 14 per cent increase over the last five years.
