Environment Canada Issues Heat Warning

There won’t be much of a break from the summer heat this week as a Yellow Heat Warning is in effect which could last up to Wednesday or Thursday.

Maximum temperatures could reach 30-36 degrees feeling closer to 38-45 with the humidex with evening lows only being 20-23 degrees.

Environment Canada says to take action to protect yourself and others, check on older adults and those living alone and other at risk people, watch for early signs of heat exhaustion which includes headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue.
