The Grey Bruce Community Safety & Well Being Planning Crime Prevention Action Table has partnered with Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village and the Rotary Club of Walkerton to host a Family Safety Day.
Set for August 24th, the event focuses on teaching children up to 11 years old road safety with engaging lessons such as driving a battery operated child sized car and scooter riding with police.
Parents can also learn about how to keep themselves and their children safe online at the event.
The event will be held at the Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village from 10am-2pm.
