A special board meeting was called by the Avon Maitland District School, of which an update was provided on FE Madill.
FE Madill Secondary students returned to class in person yesterday after a week of online learning following Tuesdays incident.
The board is awaiting the completion of police investigation with an update expected to be delivered to trustees as its made available.
In an update to the Board of Trustees, the school is open after it was deemed safe to have students and staff return, but one small part of the building is not accessible at this time.
It continues to be requested that the public do not speculate or share rumours of the incident.
