Federal & Provincial Governments invest over $4.5 Million to Expand High-Speed Internet in Huron-Bruce

Access brought to communities of Pinkerton, Eden Grove, Cargill & Chepstow in Bruce and areas of Bluewater Beach & Benmiller as well as Porter’s Hill, Marnoch and Hutton Heights in Huron.

The Federal & Provincial Government are investing over $3.1 million dollars in Bruce County and $1.4 million in Huron to bring reliable high-speed internet access to more than 1,700 families & businesses in both areas.

The two levels of government have partnered with Southwest Integrated Fibre Technology, or Swift, to provide access to communities such as Pinkerton, Eden Grove, Cargill and Chepstow in Bruce County and areas of Bluewater Beach and Benmiller as well as Porter’s Hill, Marnoch and Hutton Heights in Huron County.

In total over $255 million has been invested across Southwestern Ontario in partnership with the private sector to ensure over 63,000 homes & businesses.
