Festive Spirit on Display this Weekend in Goderich

Candle Lighting Tonight, Free Children Good Bags, Lighting of the Lights and Santa Parade Tomorrow.



The Town of Goderich has a series of events coming up over the weekend to get area residents into the Festival Spirit.

Tonight they are holding a Candle Lighting Ceremony of 3 trees, the Angel Tree for Deceased Children, the MADD tree for people impaired drivers and the Forget-Me-Not-Tree in support of those impacted by Alzheimer’s.

Tomorrow morning from 10 until noon at the Maitland Rec Centre and then 1 until 3 in front of the Park Theatre kids can pick up Goodie bags while supplies last.

Then at 7pm tomorrow just before the Santa Claus Parade the town will be holding the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony in the Square.

The event will be live streamed onto the Town of Goderich Facebook page.
