All is set for tomorrow morning for the Fill the Van event in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank.
Hosted by the Goderich Kinsmen, the food drive will take place at Zehrs in Goderich running from 10am-2pm.
During the drive, pre-packed bags will be available for purchase from the store to help give back.
Kendall Strome, Community and Family Services Supervisor at the Suncoast Citadel of the Salvation Army in Goderich says food drives like have been vital lately to address the need.
“Over Christmas we did an 18 per cent increase for our food and a 10 per cent for our toys. That was 335 food hampers for Goderich and Clinton in total.” said Strome.
The goal is to reach 200 bags of food to donate back.
A bbq will also be available during the drive accepting cash donations.
