This Saturday is the final free virtual business plan workshop ahead this spring’s Hawks Nest entrepreneur pitch contest.
The Dragon’s Den inspired event sees six people from the Grey, Bruce, Owen Sound, Minto and North Wellington area pitch their business ideas to local investors, with a chance of earning a minimum $5,000 value investment from each of the Hawks.
This weekend’s workshop will provide guidance to applicants and each entrepreneur with a new business is required to take the training.
Project coordinator Laura DeMille says the contest is a great experience for any sort of business, new or established.
Pre-registration is required for all attendees.
The virtual session runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
