The Town of Goderich will have a starring role on the small screen next month and the local tourism centre is holding a watch party for the occasion.

CBC’s Still Standing is airing an episode about Canada’s Prettiest town on Feb. 1 and the community is invited Huron County Museum at 7:30 p.m. to take it all in.

The show follows comedian Jonny Harris, who visits small towns across the nation, learning about what they have to offer before performing a stand up set for the locals. Harris visited Goderich in July 2022 and spent about a week in town, racing local runners at the Cove, visiting local businesses, and touring the salt mine.

The episode airs at 8 p.m. on Feb. 1.

Email Goderich tourism to reserve your seat at the watch party.
