The Nuclear Innovation Institute and Bruce Power have honoured five students with the second annual Frank Saunders Memorial Awards for Nuclear Excellence.
The awards celebrate the emerging talent in the nuclear sector, encouraging the next generation of innovators.
The awards are memory of Frank Saunders, a respected industry leader and the founding President of NII, long time executive at Bruce Power and Chair of the Canadian Nuclear Association.
The recipients include Tina Nazemzadeh from Western University, Ethan Drake from the University of Prince Edward Island as well as three from the University of Calgary, Amna Dahar, Kya Drummond and Ethan Perlin.
