Saugeen Conservation is keeping a flood outlook statement in effect for another week.
The statement has been issued due to potential for frazil ice formation in the Main Saugeen River upstream of Durham driven by a prolonged forecast of cold temperatures and high stream flows caused by rainfall and snow melt.
Saugeen Conversation and the Municipality of West Grey staff are working to prioritize safety with Conservation staff actively communicating flood forecasting information to municipal staff.
The statement will remain in effect until January 21st.
