The Wingham & District Hospital Foundation’s Caring Together Capital Campaign continues to gain more support.

The campaign to get a new CT scanner has received a $100,000 donation from Foxton Fuels.

Mark Foxton serves as the campaign chair with his wife Lisa Hearnden being a long time director on the board of the hospital foundation.

The need for a CT Scanner for Wingham hits Mark who found himself in the Wingham ER with kidney stones and was referred to Listowel for a CT Scan.

While he had no issues with transportation he mentioned he couldn’t imagine the stress for travel one would need if the were acutely injured, had mobility limitations or needed regular scans.
