Heading into Father’s Day weekend, the Ontario government is offering all Canadian residents free fishing across the province on Saturday and Sunday.
While fishing will be free, all conservation licence catch and size limits, sanctuaries and other fishing regulations will still apply.
Mike Harris, Minister of Natural Resources says whether its your firs time fishing or a family tradition, its a great way to explore Ontario’s beautiful lakes and rivers while supporting the local communities, jobs and businesses which depend on the province’s diverse fishing opportunities.
