Bruce County is preparing for a full closure of Carrick Bridge, on Bruce Road 6 East, between Deemerton and Grey Road 10, starting this Monday and lasting around 8 weeks.
Full resurfacing of Bruce Road 6 East from around 300m east of Deemerton to George Street in Mildmay will be also taking place during this time.
The section will remain open for local traffic only and alternate routes and detours will be established for through-trafifc.
The road work is expected to be completed in the fall.
E.C.King Construction has been awarded the contract for the Reconstruction work.
