More restrictions on visitors to Bruce County long-term facilities are being lifted.

A report was delivered the Long-Term Care Homes Committee that indicated that unvaccinated visitors would be allowed to enter facilities at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton and Gateway Haven in Wiarton.

In the report, they say COVID-19 cases in the province over the last two months has been on the decline.

They say that has resulted in a number of provincial public health measures being eased.

Visitors will also no longer be required to pre-book their visit.

They do say that a number of health measures will remain in place including the use of masks and physical distancing.
