Gateway Casinos warn Employees of Possible Data Breach Due to Recent Cyberattack

Gateway Casinos is advising its employees of a possible leak of their personal information following a recent cyber attack that shut down a number of its Casino locations beginning April 16th for two weeks.

In the statement Gateway released Monday, the company says the investigation of the incident is still ongoing that the breach may have resulted in the loss of personal information on some of their current and former employees at sites in Ontario, BC and Alberta.

The company is providing its employees with a free credit monitoring and identity theft service for 12 months as a precaution.

Sites impacted in Ontario by the breach include Clinton, Hanover, London, Woodstock, and Sarnia.
