The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is set to temporarily close the Emergency Department of the Seaforth Community Hospital due to staffing shortages.
It is set to close this evening, June 14th at 9 pm and re-open at 7 am tomorrow morning, June 15th.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention during the closure should call 911. Paramedics will remain available to the community and will re-route to the nearest open Emergency Department.
The closest locations to Seaforth are Exeter, Goderich and Stratford.
Anyone attending an ER during the closure is advised to contact the location to ensure they are operating with regular hours.
