The County of Huron has lifted the fire ban that was in place that banned open-air fire burns.
The reason for the change was the recent rainfall received in the area over the past few days.
They advise to contact the fire department closest to the area where a resident resides for the current rules & regulations regarding open-air burns.
The Fire Chiefs thank all of the residents of the County for their patience & understanding while the ban was in place.
